Stella Childs (she/her) is a violinist, singer-songwriter, composer, and folk-singing fairy in Chicago, IL, whose work combines her classical music training with her lifelong love of folk music, musical theater, and improvisation.
Stella has performed in and led a variety of ensembles including string quartets, symphony orchestras, choirs, new music improvisation groups, Balkan music groups, and bluegrass jams. She brings these invaluable experiences with her to the page with her written works and to the stage as a performing artist.
